Snow Day!
After Snowpocalypse1 missed New York City completely last weekend, Snowpocalypse2 sort of happened on Wednesday. I say “sort of” because while it was an awesome snow storm, it was nowhere near as epic and possibly catastrophic as the predictions would have you believe.
Emboldened by hot chocolate (with soy milk, thankyouverymuch), I went to Central Park with my camera. Because the city closed the schools the day before, there were lots of kids (of all ages, actually) sledding, making snow people, having snowball fights, making snow angels and enjoying the park.
I would have walked the entire park, but my camera’s battery was dying and my gloves had gotten wet, so I turned around walked back home.
Supposedly, we’re going to get more snow next week. My fingers are crossed and my camera’s battery is charging.
